?/?  Thats it?  All that feed back you got, and thats it?  Is that all you wanted was some attention?   ?/?  Man, what are you going to do?

Well, if you MUST know, I'm going to go ahead and sell them to one of the local drum shops.  My heart just isn't in it anymore.  As many drummers as there are in this world, one will not be missed.  There was no need for me to respond to everything that was said.  At least in my eyes.  I just asked a question targeted at those who have been on the grind a little longer than others, got some answers, and took them in.  In turn I thanked everyone who did respond.

As for me wanting attention, I'm not that kind of person.  I don't do or say things in an attempt to garner a reaction like some people.  I somewhat resent that statement, but I'm not going to go there with you.  I just can't seem to figure out your angle.

Black Males that stood/stand for TRUTH!!!!

"He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it."
         - Martin Luther King, Jr.

"I believe in the brotherhood of man, all men, but I don't believe in brotherhood with anybody who doesn't want brotherhood with me. I believe in treating people right, but I'm not going to waste my time trying to treat somebody right who doesn't know how to return the treatment." - Malcom X
- Speech, Dec. 12 1964, New York City

"Yes there is a time to quit and it sounds like your time is now.

You have to naturally want to play the drums, for yourself.  Not because of the lime light.  Not because of the pay check.  And certainly not because of what everyone else is or isn't doing.

So if I were you, I would quit the drums and move on to a part of music that you are genuinely interested in.  Like you said, there are other pieces to the puzzle, writing, producing, playing the bass.  Whatever you do, do it well and do it for yourself first, cause if you're not happy doing it, we wont be happy listening to it!"
