Benediction

Did a search but have not really found this on LGM. In need of benediction or blessing songs for the end of worship service(s). Thanks!

We use the doxology.

Sry, not familiar with it. Would you explain a little more. I wikied it but it didn't really say much other than a hymn ending or something like that.

The Doxology is the "old 100th" starting with "praise God from whom all blessings flow". It can be found in many hymnals, including the African American Heritage Hymnal #651. It is often used every week in mainline denominations.

Other closing songs in the AA Heritage Hymnal - #632-641

I like another more recent song, pretty easy to learn and sing - Kirk Franklin's "Till We Meet Again"
