Ricky Dillard - The 7th Episode

For those who have it, what are your reviews on it.

For me it was definitely refreshing to have something out for choirs.  He REALLY REALLY SHOCKED me with his last track.  I was like 'did the player switch CDs¿'

THAT particular song was written by John Lakin.  Dude is a BKEAST!!!!  He's bkeen to the church I attend on numerous occasions.  He also has a group, Youth On A Mission, with a project out.  Checc that jaunt out.   ;)

You are really excited about this, huh VT?  LOL!  :D  :D

I agree that it's good to have some good choir music out.  Comparatively, there are so few choirs out these days, and that's really unfortunate for church and school choir directors.

All in all, it gets 5 stars from me.  (Of course, the live recording was even better!!!)  ;D

I've only heard one song from the album called "Our Father" i think.  Some of the words are "Our Father, You are holy, we give You glory, and we praise Your name."  That song is fire plus we singing it for a concert we putting on November 11 at our church.

Yo, that's the choir anniversary of the church I attend.  I THOUGHT the choir was supposed to bke singing that jaunt as well, alas   ::)

I just got the CD yesterday and wow it is fire.  I had the nerve to listen to it on the way home, I couldn't keep still.  I was shouting in the car. 

This is the best CD I've heard in a long time.  I love every single song.  I just wish some songs were longer, specifically "I Surrender All."  That ending is crazy (I come to you Lord, cause I can't bare it, I freely give my cares to you, my strength is gone, I'm weak, please make me strong, I surrender it all to you ), I was in tears.  Nikki was tearing it up, I wanted to here the rest.  Why did it have to end before she finished singing. 

The music on Search Me Lord and Awesome God is crazy.  I need this whole album chorded.  I can't wait for the DVD.  I wish his message board was more active like it was when his Unplugged album came out.

We are going to sing Grateful this Sunday.  I'm trying to get an alto to sing One More Chance, but my main ladies can't ad lib well enough to make the song their own.  Lillian be preaching in that song.

I love the song "That Name", that's another one that almost took me in.  Ricky and New G are the Truth.

I got the CD as well, and I agree that this CD is straight fiyah.  I've never been a Ricky Dillard fan before, but this CD has changed my mind.  I'm gonna go back and try to find some of his other albums and see what I been missing all these years.  All the songs are tight!!!
