BURNING QUESTION

I have an offer for a Minister of Music position that pays.  But the church is a Church of the Nazarene.  Do they believe the same thing we do? Gotta meet with them at three tomorrow.

When you called, you didn't tell me that it was the Church of the Nazarene.

Check up on their doctrine & theology. Make sure they are in line with what YOU believe to be Truth. And of course, make sure it's where God is sending you.

I didn't know their music was the same.  The one's here are caucasian, though.

Church of the Nazarene isn't much different from a baptist church, in their doctrine and theology.

I think the most outstanding difference (if you can even call it a difference) is that the Nazarene church believes it is possible and achievable to live a sinless life.

Other than that, their ordinances, beliefs, doctrines, rituals, and services are pretty much the same as a Baptist church.

They teach a lot on holiness and sinless living...
