I'll let yall cats know this....not all aspects of improving ones drumming skills is technical.  There's also a lot of improvement that needs to be done off of the kit without the sticks in the hands.  Just because someone is a very good, solid drummer doesn't mean that you'll be hired to do the Tour or get the Gig.  Let that thought soak in for a few. ;)

My areas of improvement are many.  I'll give you all a few so that you can see that I too have issues. LOL

I need to stay focused on my practice regimen (sp?) and quit practicing things I already know.  I need to keep working on my weaker hand. (left)  I need to keep working on Traditional grip because as Dave Weckl says, "It's not wise to only have one way to play the drums." 

   I also need to work on my limited but growing reading skills.  I need to take the books Stick Control and Syncopation seriously.  I need to work on both of my feet and not just the right foot.  I need to work more with Click Tracks and Metronomes and learn to groove with them.

   I need to seek God and His Kingdom first.  I need to pray more.  I need to read the Word more.  I need to seek His Presence more.  I need to let God mold me and quit complaining when he wants to take certain things out of my life.  I need to quit listening to all of these haters.  I need to develop my spiritual ears to listen to God's voice and be guided by the Holy Spirit.

....those are just a few.  God bless yall fam.  Keep improving. ;)
