Nord phase problem?
« on: December 21, 2009, 02:52:12 PM »
I had a chance to really PLAY an electro today at guitar center;not the newest 3,but the 2nd version.Using a roland KC 500 amp.there seemed to be a weird phase effect on the 2 top octaves using Chorus and leslie(fast).I think it's most pronounced from the leslie fast, because Chorus 1,2,3  sounded better, not so noticeable with leslie "off"

I experimented with EQ,the amp,anything I could think off.Anybody else notice this?
I noticed this on a lot of the clones thru an amp,not as noticeable thru headphones or recorded

They are probably using the wrong output. Since the effects are in stereo, they should be using Right/mono out, not the headphone or the Left.

that I did NOT think of;I've always tried to get the soundman to run L+R,and pan hard L+R to get the best 'spread;their arguments are always"it doesn't matter"
