Chord Change Help Please

I am so rusty when it comes to chord change and the formula for going from one key to a higher key. lets saying i am singing a song like Jesus loves me tis i know, in C natural. what is there to do to take it to a higher key and what key do you go to next to take it up one step? PLease help me numbering is ok with me if u wanna just give me the numbers. Please help me.

Several types of modulations. A common modulation is to use the perfect 5th of the Key you want to go to and use a sus4+13 chord. ddw4e and T-Block did an excellent post explaining this a while back...I just noticed he posted the link, but I don't think this was mentioned.

EX...C to Db-modulation chord would be Absus4+13 -- Key of Db (5th is Ab)...same in others keys

chord would be AbEbGb/BbDbFAb
