Man I've been thinking HARD about this board too doc (well the MO8). Anyway....I was the GMWA last week and seen someone with the MO8....and MAN the piano was on point just like the one on the Motif. Dude says the only difference between the MO and the ES is......the MO has two less sound banks, and no sampler. He says the two missing sound banks aren't really noticeable as far as "church" sounds go. You know.....the pianos, electric pianos, strings, organs and brass (which he did admit were a little weak compared to fantoms/korg trs and extremes)! I've actually heard people on LGM state that, had the MO series been out 3-4 years ago, they would have never even brought an ES. So since this thing will work perfect for me in a live setup as well as studio (it has a sequencer), I am definitely considering it! Guess what I need to do now, is actually play one!
Keys, bass, drums, trombone, I sing a lil bit too lol

The piano on the mo is rock brite.u can make a nice brass sound.Just go to the performance mode. While u there go to the octabrass sound. They used velofalls twice to make sound.replace one of velofalls with the big and brite sound.U will have a awesome brass sound.

The MO is a nice board all around. As a matter of fact I have a bank from the ES on my board (on one of my USR banks) they all work except for the Live Scat and PowerGrand (which is from the Motif Classic..now called  Full Grand on the MO). I only regret is that they should've made a 76 key version of this.If you seen my vid on "Blessed and Highly Favored" on Youtube, I used a EP sound called Stage 73  (which I believe is a ES sound and isn't on the MO).

I have a MO6 and I must admit I really love having this keyboard. It has great sounds, great features and is very affordable.

Yo DD, how do u add the sounds to your keyboard? Do I have to buy anything to get the sounds to my board or can I just download and plug in usb cord? If u don't mind can you get me headed in right direction. Thanks in advance

You need a USB flash drive to do the transfer. There are 2 files (.w7a and .w7p I think...) and you load those 2 in the flash drive...then you just go to File-->load, scroll to voice and Exec key.
