I played the one is the Gold Sparkle type Finish!! I was sick!! I cant see paying 4000 for a DW when you can get the Masters for a fraction of the cost and it sounds every bit as good as a DW!! I love the snare too! This kit had the 20" Kick drum!!

The late Sessions series was actually the Masters series with di-cast hoops and optimounts. It was the exact same shell. Now they've just obsrobed it into the Masters series completely.
If you can find an old SBX it is the same as the Masters Studio kit. That is why is sounds so good.

Oh, I didnt know that! I just looked up the "Used Gear" section  on GuitarCenter.com and I found the SBX Sessions kit for $799 it was only played a few times for studio sessions... If I had the $$ I would definately consider buying that thing!!

No changing my mind again....for now. I was just wondering, because I seem to like the birch over the maple sessions, but both sound good. The more I look at those Beech Customs the more I want them. There's no one around this area that have them, except Without Walls Central. Them things sound good too.

Saweet. I had my mind made up on what Kit I was going to buy, but my wife changed it for me! in a good way! I will be getting 2 kits within the next year. One for the house and one for Church. I will be selling my Ddrum kit to accommodate the new additions.

Beech has the best of Maple and Birch attributes.
