That's my boy Marcus Singleton from Jackson, MS.  He's in his early 20's.  He's been on a number of recordings.  He's just as cold on the set!!!!  I guess the latest cd you can hear him on that's out is MS Mass Choir's Christmas cd.  He has one or two more coming out this yr also.

It sounds close to the john jackson version on the L. Spenser CD

Now that was nice!  You guys are all so patriotic, I want to stand up!  The effortless way he changes keys on that organ, reminds me of Art Tatum; he never forgets where he is and always ends up at the right place.  I hear Andres Segovia licks on that bass; the man is a virtuoso from the Ron Carter school.....

yeah i had a chance to meet marcus singleton once and once was enough as far as music goes. he is really blessed. helped me at a shed session at A church in our area.the cat is real!!!!!!

dude....To me..This cat is talented but lacks soul....I definitely like Marcus rendition....
