What Kind of kit is this?

Does anyone know what kind of kit this is... I think its a Peavey but Im not positive on that... Maybe Drumzalicious will know!!  I cant find this drums set anywhere!! It keeps bringing up the Peavey amps but not the kits!!

Yeah...That's a Peavy kit. They were actually selling a bunch those kits at George's Music Store(I think that's the name) in Orlando, Fl. a few years back, but I haven't seen one in a while. I wanted to take one home when I first saw it though.

I heard they discontinued some series but Im not sure which one ?/?... I would love to have one of those babies. They sound nice.... I didn't care for the head choice from the video but they are great sounding kits.... I know a guy up here who has one, I love how they sound!!

I have a pretty good memory - sometimes it scares me.  Peavey expanded their operations to acoustic drums in the mid 90s with the introduction to what they called the "Radial Bridge".  From what I remember reading the literature when they were new (circa Fall 1994), the "Radial Bridge" are donut-shaped, cross-laminated maple "bridges" found at both the top and bottom of the drum, right next to the rims. That is a signature component of the "Radial Bridge" concept and was designed to replace traditional lugs, which are fastened to the shell and, consequently, interfere with the drum's natural resonance.

Needless to say, they were discontinued sometime in 2002.

Very good memory indeed my friend!!...lol.... I noticed that they didnt have any lugs.... I love the concept I wish that someone would re- introduce this idea....

Yeah I was shocked until I saw my boys kit!! Hey I didnt even know Paiste made kits.... I guess we all learn something new everyday!! ;D :D

They fizzed out because they were way over priced, ugly, and heavy. Its weird, because at NAMM that year they were an industry hit.

They are Called Percussion Plus!!! They dont sound the best though!! :-\ ?/?

They don't hold up that well either. From the shells, to the hardware, to the cymbals lol. One of my boys (along with visiting churches) beat one of those sets (which belonged to the church) down to NOTHING in less than a year (playin every sunday). The church is just straight out cheap....they're supposed to give him $200 to "restore" the set....but he told him it aint possible, and they just need to buy another set! Why are "country" churches so cheap with equipment? I guess that's another topic huh? lol

" Country" Churches tend to have the mind set of the old days when they didn't need music to have church... I think some churches still have that mind set today....
