Whenever you all get an opportunity, pick up the June 2007 issue of Modern Drummer - it has some pretty good articles. 

-Marco Minnemann has a feature interview
-There is an article that discusses independence and coordination with the following:
Chris Adler
Bill Bruford
Keith Carlock
Billy CObham
Terreon Gully
Virgil Donati
Gavin Harrison
etc. 
-George McCurdy has an interview as well.

It took me a while, also.  I sent my request in December 2006, and got the first edition in the mail (May 2007).

...man, I'm still on that Russ Miller Article from the May Edition.  I'm not saying anything else on it. 

...I'm waiting anxiously doc'.  I'm sure it's going to be a good read.
