Help Me Organ Techs
« on: July 11, 2007, 08:36:27 PM »
I have an organ w/ a six pin connection and just ran across a leslie 910 w/ a 9 pin connection.  Is there anyway to hook the organ to the leslie?

Yes!  You can hook up a 910 to the Hammond.  You'll need the right kit and a solid understanding on working with electricity and electronics (the power running through a Leslie and/or Hammond can kill you!)  If you're not sure about working with it, then you can find a local Hammond tech who will hook it up for you.

Here are some places to start for help understanding the Leslie pin-outs:

According to the last page, you can purchase HammondSuzuki kit #9770 to hook up your organ to a 9-pin Leslie.
http://www.bborgan.com/ seems to be a good place to order one of those.

Be sure, also, that there isn't another kit already in your Hammond.

Thanks a lot bimmerfan.  Now hopefully the church that has the leslie will come off it for a reasonable price, like FREE.. Be blessed
