Making a decision

A guy wants to sell me a Yamaha wood kit for $450. I saw it, Its brand spankin" new! He said a friend of his gave it to him because it was one of his indorsement kits. It has new evans Ec2's and an SuperKick 2 on the kick. I just want to know how the sound is on the wood kits. Any help?

I think its birch. Its a nice kit. For only 450 bucks I cant beat that with a stick!!

for 450.....if that kit looks any kinda good< as much as yams cost,....I would have ran to the atm in a minute, esp if I've I;ve seen it...

Yeah Im going to go try it out. Im going over to try it out before I buy it because I can never be too sure!  I really want that kit and I will take your advice and run with it!
