When I think about Jesus RH suggestions
« on: February 14, 2007, 07:27:36 PM »
First of all, I'm new to LGM and I'm going through the plethora of information thats available on this site!
And, might I add, you guys are AWESOME.   So many blessed, talented, musicians.
Praise God that so many people are willing to share and help others along!

Here's my question:
Whenever I play "when I think about Jesus" with the walking bass line: C E F F# G A Bb B C (repeat)
I feel like I always do the SAME thing in my RH during the vamp part.  I'd love to hear someone else's 'licks'...
Any advice on the RH...patterns...chords...runs.....?

Or if you know of any audios on this site that might help with this, let me know.
Again, I've been going through videos and audios...but there are many.

Thanks!

Lisa

Well, why don't you show us what you play for the Vamp, and we can give you some different ways.
Real musicians play in every key!!!
Music Theory, da numbers work!
