RICKY DILLARD DID HIS RECORDING IN TORONTO LAST NIGHT!!! OBVIOUSLY CALVIN WASNT THERE AND REX WASNT THERE, BUT THIS NEW DRUMMER WAS BRENT EASTON FROM J.MOSS. GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, THIS GUY IS HEAVY!!! HE CUSSED OUT THE DRUM KIT!! IT WAS A PEARL 5PIECE KIT EXPORT SERIES. YOU'LL SEE IT WHEN THE DVD COMES OUT. JUST GIVING YALL A HEADS UP STILL!!

Yeah thats my dude Brent from my home town Indiana! He's also the drummer for YPJ and FVC. This cat is amazing and he's straight up humble and down to earth! Make sure yall check out Reggie Strong on the organ and Derick Hearns on bass too. Indiana stand up!

Just to add, the band straight killed at the concert. Derrick, Reggie, Mike, and Brent were soooo tight. I was so glad that they came to Toronto and its about time that the U.S. start showing Toronto some love cause we have some great artists up here too. Respect to all musicians everywhere!!! By the Ricky Dillard is the baddest choir director around, he really sets the standard for choirs.

THE RECORDING OVERALL WAS OF DA CHAIN!! VOCALLY, NEW G RIPPED IT, WHEN IT COMES TO RANGE NEW G TAKES IT. THEY ALSO HAD SOME NEW VOCALISTS WHO WERE ALSO HOLDING IT DOWN..NIKKI ROSS..(SHAKING HEAD). THEY ALSO REDID ERIC MCDANIELS' "ONE MORE CHANCE" IT WAS GOOD, BUT THEY NEEDED REGGIE YOUNG AND JOHN PETERS TO REALLY DO UP THE SONG. EACH AND EVERY SONG WAS LIVE AND IN YOUR FACE. IT'S ABOUT TIME AMERICA STARTED SHOWING US SOME LOVE!!!

The recording itself was very nicely done. There were so on pint they only needed to restart two songs out of the entire set and thta was only because they started while Ricky was still speaking. They were very together, nobody tired to "out do" anyone else. Brent was solid, Derrcik held the groove very nicely, Mike Talyor was killing on the organ and I cant remember who was on the keys, but he was crushing all night. The sound was perfect, no feedback or technical difficulties. Donald Lawrence was special guest. Trust me you guys will not be disappointed with the Cd or DVD!

I CANT WAIT TILL THE CD/DVD COMES OUT. IT WILL PROBABLY BE THE BEST THAT RICKY DILLARD AND NEW G HAVE EVER DONE!! I WAS SURPRISED THAT THEIR WERE NO GUARDS TO KEEP EVERYONE FROM GETTING ROWDY. ON THE DVD YOU MIGHT SEE US RUNNING THE ISLE'S AND GOING NUTS LOL!! OVER THE CHOIR AND BAND.
