Here is another one. You will have to mute the bassline in vanbasco.

Here's another file of the 6-b6-5-1-4-7-3 progression. Its basically the GK hump you hear on gospelkeyboard. This is a gospel progession you must know in every key.

This kinda like the bass jam file.

I tried to play it a certain way so you dont have to play the same thing. There is not necessarily a right way. Look at the progession I gave. Im going to post a clip of me playing it.

I think I have a few. I will check when I get home.

Funny thing you drag this thread up. I got my basses a few years back by never really got into playing them. I was off the last few days and spent a good portion of them trying to relearn the bass. I got a few ideas to post. I've been playing with my G.E. Patterson DVDs. It was kinda fun. When I'm able to play in all keys and got a few runs then I think I will bust out at church.  ;D

Old post. lol I don't have anything complex to add just simple ideas.  I've barely touched the bass since this thread was made. Which puts me still at the beginner stage but I understand music. I got a guaranteed way to get beginner bass players holding it down and throw in a few tricks. lol I will just start the thread now then post what I can when I get home.

It would probably be better in the lesson section.  :)
