Thanks for you support.  :)  HONESTLY, when I wrote the post, I was dead serious.... buuuutttt I must admit, before3 I hit the send button, I then realized that it could be taken in a different way..... but I opted to just keep it. :D

But back to my orginal post, I have to agree with the white is classy.  This year, we transitioned over to white on the tree and it is much better.

In the past, my family and I decorated our Christmas tree with colored lights but now we prefer to use white Christmas light now. And I recently decorated my dorm room and the outside of my door with Christmas lights.

I'm partial to white decorative lights, they represent peace and purity better to me.

I'm not into multi colored lights, that seems too "Las Vegas" to me, and I especially don't like the huge retro lights

On a side note, here in baltimore we have the Famous "34th" street where the whole block "OVER" decorates.  I will try to get some time to scan some pictures we have taken ourselves.

Oh yeah........I actually prefer the big ol' colored ones, especially bordering the living room window.  Reminds me of my childhood   :'( :'(

I prefer both because to me the white bulbs represent the stars of heaven and the colored bulbs represent the colors of the earth (which includes all nationalities).
