What do you see thats wrong with the kit in all seriousness.  Anybody whats wrong with it, please tell me because nobody has even heard it yet.
You're right man, to each his own. There is nothing wrong with your Sunlight kit. As long as it gets the job done... But in this thread, I believe Levite was looking for some advice on mid level kits at the least. That's a nice Sunlight you have there. :) i wasn't dissing your kit, just the fact that you would recommend it to Levite was a liittle wierd.

Ok missunderstanding, my bad.  I thought he was asking what kind of drums do people have.  I guess I needed to read more.

I was just presenting what I have not making a suggestion.

I feel sorry for whomever sits in that front row seat in front of the kit. It has to be a musician's seat. ;)
My goal as a musician is to be better than myself.

i love to hear compliments abbout how good my cheap (inexpensive) drums sound. other dudes eyes be poppin' out when i tell 'em how little the stuff cost me.

but i agree a hundred percent. MOST people spend a lot of money because they need all the help they can get to get a good SOUND. it's a dfifference. . .playing good, and sounding good. and with time and know-how just about any set can be recorded in the studio or used live. it doesn't matter what people say. nobody in here would know if my set was maple, birch, or mahogany if i posted some studio stuff. whoever GUESSED right would be like, "see i knew it."
