Holy Ghost Take Over -- Part One
« on: August 27, 2006, 06:51:38 AM »
LGM Family!!!!!!!
I need ya'll.  I have a situation at church where the MOM abruptly left.  Didn't tell anyone and didn't call or come back - UNTIL NOW!

Oh family!  Her leaving like she did was the best thing that ever happened to the church - in a carnal sense.  She is older and won't play any uptodate songs.  The choir has transformed to mostly younger people who now want to sing modern things.  I have played for the Youth choir for over 4 years.  When she left, I stepped in and played for all choirs.  Ooooo they loved it.

We had a music workshop where all 3 choirs and former choir members and people who left the church all came back and sung.  It was awesome.  For 2 months service was off the chain EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY!    A new spirt was in there.  A new sound was in there.  A new motivation was in there.

Yep, you guessed it.  She came back and it's back dead.  So I have sat in the congregation for 2 Sundays - TORTURE.  It's sad to see where we were and where we are now.  But family, I can't hold my peace any longer.  I have to do a HOLY GHOST TAKE OVER this Sunday.  I am up early  ready  I have ask God to let his Will be done in the service today.

Stay tuned......
Praise God!

Where is the pastor in this situation ?/? ?/? ?/?

How you just abandon your post without a word, then ROLLL back up in there like nothing happened!!!

If your pastor and your MOM have discussed this before she had a change in heart, I think it was very unfair of both of them not to either include you, or make you aware of her return.

Folk just seem to do what they want to do all in the name of the Lord :(  naw I meant  >:(

Uh, grammatically, now. But, I believe I can ascertain your sentiment.  ;) :D

Despite our communication technology, no invention is as effective as the sound of the human voice.

That is rough, especially when the MOM left without an explanation.  Have you discussed all this with your pastor  :-\

Yes I have but he won't make a decision.  He won't say this is what I want you to do and this is what I want her to do.  There is no clear line.
