Memory......

Hello LGM, I am new to this site and I am having a problem remembering  the notes on the fret board....is there any advice that you can give a beginner to help me with my memory?

Practice saying the notes up and down the neck each day. Make a copy of the fretboard and write them over and over again to store them to memory. Learn the circle of fifths and fourths. Type "circle of fifths and fourths" in the search here or google.com and you will find them. That's the way I learned.  Consistency is the key. When you are saying them in your resting state, then you got it! Hope this helps.
