There are rules for fingering, but they don't work for everyone, especially those with small hands.  I would play the the Chord you posted exactly with the same fingering you used.  Short Ex.,..fast left hand chords used in a fast song below

FCEb/ACEb
FD/...BbD  (You can include the Bb in left)
FC/...AbC  (Same here, include Ab in left, that way you can riff or run in rhythm)
FD/...BbD
FCEb/ACEb

on faster stuff i usually play the dominant 7 and 3 on my left hand for the 1 chord.  then when you go to a 4 chord you just drop your left hand a half step. it makes a nice simple groove too.
example in Ab  left hand/right hand

1chord  Gb C / Gb C Eb Ab     4chord  F B / Ab Db F Ab

so you play it like 1 1 4 4 1 1 4 4 and so on 'til you go to the 5

or you can just voice it as
1chord  Ab Gb / C Eb Ab       4chord    Ab F / Db F Ab

whatever floats yer boat
Sorry if the band seems too loud tonight.  Now go tear Psalms 150 from your bible and sit down. ;-)
