The Word to the "Marvelout Things" Warm-Up
« on: July 26, 2006, 06:13:33 PM »
Hello and God Bless. I'm new here and I love talking about singing and ministry with other people who love to as well. I remember this warm-up when I use to hear the adult choir sing called "Marvelous Thing". One section woul say He has done Marvelous..(Marvelous)... and so on. I know the melody I just don't know the words and the sections (sop. alt. and ten.) that go with them. Could some1 please help me? Thanks
STAY BLESSED

Iv never heard of that 1, but then again ,Y CHOIR DONT DO WARM UP. :o :o :o :o its a oke (im praying on it). I have said on toooooooooooooo many occasions that we must warm up, and we need some sort of vocal train :-[, but they just dont listen sayin we dont need it (yeah right :'( :'( :'(). I jus get pushed to 1 side as i should speak when spoken to (i was told im too argumentative, and think i know every thing)

jus tryna learn on my own, so our youth group actually know how to sing TOGETHER, and stop being locked in tradition.

but ack to the subject.

Welcome to the famo sdigehya, oh and u too b3brotha ;D ;D

This DOES bring back memories, but I have a question. Don't the tenors sing:  He has done marvelous things, praise the Lord ?

At least, that's how I remember it. Man, taking me back to college right there.  ;)

Yes  the tenors do Sing "He has done marvelous things, praise the lord"
I love this song. We also sing it for warm up in my university's choir. We were dining at Applebee's when a woman, who was drunk, asked us to sing for she had not been to in quite some time.  This was one of the songs we sang (being we had to sing acapella) as we were able to bless Applebees with songs of praise. And we later heard started attending church again.
