Bruh,   that is a loaded question.

I would never downgrade anyone's dedication to their respective instrument.

To play skillfully on any instrument that  you listed will take time and dedication.

each instrument is different and requires a different appraoch.

Now, knowing how to play one instrument may assist you in learning how to play another,  but you still had to put the time in somewhere.

I know hot  piano players that sound like garbage on the organ.   I know hot organ players who sound muddled  on a piano.  I know people who can play both equally.   I know hot guitar players whose got chops just as fast an any organ player I have heard.  I know Drummers who can play 4/4  then break it down 12/8 and drop right back in to  cut time for the bridge.

I wouldnt list any instrument as  easy.

This is not a knock on any Instrument. This is your personal voice on which instrument is easier for you.

I don't knock anyone's music skill level. Because, we are not playing these Instruments to please self.   ARE WE?  We are playing to Praise our Father in Heaven.

Example:  I Started out as a Drummer before I started to play organ, piano, Keyboad etc.

The Drums where easier for me.

The Organ was easy.

The piano was harder.

If this Poll offends anyone, I would ask that the Moderator remove it.

Ok I see where you are going.

I see how organ would be easier for you ( a previous drummer) because you already had  connected the dots between your feet and hands.

I started on piano, organ was harder for me.  I don't play drums.

To me, any instrument that i can play is easy. the keyboard, piano, and organ I can both play equally.
the guitar I can play I just have to keep practicing(My father wont show me nothing :-[) the saxophone I am good at and the trumpet I can get clean notes I just have to work on slurring and keeipng the notes clean while they're moving(I dont like cracking them).

i said guitar, but i was meaning bass in particular.  i'm trying to learn keyboard now and i'm having a harder time than when i started on bass.  mostly because i'm still trying to get used to both hands doing something that's not related to each other. (i'm sure you know what i mean by that).  but i think in the long run, learning keyboard will help me on the bass..

Like a lot of people, I said drums!

However, to play drums at the precision level required to lay down a track or to play on a kit with microphones everywhere is difficult.  I guess it depends on what you consider "playing".  Many folks think they can play drums, but they don't even understand the fundamental concept of the pocket.  A solid pocket with well-placed fills is really not as easy as many people think.

Yall got me interested in playing drums.   we got an electronic set (yamaha brain, I think) down at the church.

I've jumped on there to do a basic boom tap when our real drummer/sound guy was up in the booth doing something.   Man I could only keep the beat for like 30 seconds at a time.  My feet kept getting out of sync.

It is hard 4 me to say because when u don't know how to play an instrument, it is hard.  When you learn how to play an instrument, it gets easier and easier.

I've heard of people saying that the drums are the easiest. But for me the organ was easy to me.

That is true. A lot of churches have "drummers" like this. They think they can play. Some of these folks don't even know the names of the drums.EX... hi-hat, snare...

The Drums would be the easiest to play in my opinion... I am decent at the drums, keyboard, and organ... To master any of these instruments is all extemely hard, but if you can clap your hands on beat and stomp your feet on beat to a song, then you can get on the drums.  I'm not saying that they would be real nice or anything, but that is why you see kids who are 3 and 4 who can get on the drums and hold a beat... But as many of you said, to be real good at it, none of them are easy... If you were to look at your congregation, how many people in the church would be able to step in on a sunday when the drummer isn't there, then look at how many could step in for your organist if he were sick or not there?

Ok, as a drummer/Organist/Keyboard Player/Trumpet Player.....

I LOVE the Organ (my instrument of choice), but to become truly excellent, you'd need independence from your hands and feet  whereas on the keys, you don't.  However, you can do alot less on the Organ and still get a full sound, whereas on the keys you have to stay a little more busy to fill the music.

The drums aren't easy.....but they're the easiest to just get on a make a decent sound at first.  But to develop truly monster chops and 4-way independence would take YEARS upon YEARS of practice.  The first time I got on I was able to keep a steady beat, but I haven't progressed to the point where I have total 4-way independence.

To be excellent on ANY instrument will take years and years of practice and dedication.

Drums are relatively easy to play if you have rhythm. But playing an instrument and being good and it are two different things. I play can drums, but Im not a drummer.
