Hello all, I've been playing around on the keyboard for a while, but I had never played gospel music until a year ago. I've never had any type of training and I've basically taught myself everthing I know. I've been playing for my church and I do okay but I sound nothing like other gospel keyboardist. I'm their only option right now,but I'm having a hard time playing the simple ol' time gospel songs like "Praise the Lord everybody", "Run don't look back" and "In the moring when I rise" to name a few. I know basically the same bass line and chords can be played for all of these songs but I don't know what those chords are. If anyone out there is familiar with any of these songs, I would really appreciate any help you can give me. Just the basic bass line and chords will be fine in a simple key like "C".
