putting together what i've learned so far..........

what is the best way to put what i have learned from this site and others in to pratice in learning songs........

Well you take everything a step at a time.  As you learn different songs also try to learn the theory behind it.  Over time you will be able to hear chords, movements, and progressions, you have already used in other songs.

It's not an overnight processs, but trust me with time, patience, and prayer, you will imporve.

it has just been hard for me, cause my pastor told me that i wasn't playin up to his expectations or even preaching to his expectations. i have only been playin for bout 4 1/2 years and i found my self judging myself and what the lord has given me to do. so you are right with prayer and pratice i can grow into the musician that God wants me to be.
