AS FAR AS CLASSES GO HERE THEY ARE...
THE MINISTRY OF MUSICIANS- ( I need a teacher who ain't scared to call out them Spirits and restore the musicians)
THE MINISTRY OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP- ( I may teach this class myself, but I still want to see who is interested)
THE MINISTRY OF THE CHOIR- (seeking open, honest, and well-rounded teacher to restore this area of music ministry)
THE MINISTRY OF DANCE- (I need a teacher for this class as well)
THE MINISTRY OF MUSIC 1-"THE CHURCH" ( This class deals with music ministry as it pertains to the church, appealing to the masses and meeting the needs of the congregation. How to handle church situations and issues and restoring the spirit of the musicain in the church. Whoever takes the responsibility of teaching this class must be open-minded enough to teach all denominations and backgrounds of people...)
THE MINISTRY OF MUSIC 2-"THE INDUSTRY" ( This class will deal with the other side of music ministry, which is not constrained to the four walls of the church. The temple worship experience is totally different from the outside worship experience and this class will teach the basic principles of the above statement. It will deal with all community choirs, quartet gruops, contemporary groups(male and female), and any other music ministry that is not a "church" music ministry, but it is a gospel music ministry. Whoever teaches this class again must be open-minded enough to deal with all people...)
THE LEADERS OF THE MUSIC MINISTRY-( This class is a leadership class that must be taught with boldness and scriptural excellence.)
The classes are one day classes...that is on that Saturday morning Oct. 21, 2006. Tuesday through Thursday will be the conference rehearsals for all choirs, praise teams, praise dancers, and step teams.
All song submissions need to be copywritten and it would be wise to register with BMI, ASCAP, or with a publisher of your choice.(the bible says in business be men, so cover yourselves...) I also need to let the songwriters to know that there will be a selection committee. If you want to know why there is a selection committee and who is on it, give me your e-mail address and I will be more than happy to share that information with you. There is a deadline for submitting and that deadline is August 29, 2006. No songs submitted after that date will be selected. All contact info should be submitted with your song as well as your bio. If you are interested in teaching your own material, you still have to submit, but specify that you are interested in participating in the workshop rehearsals.
