I Call You Holy
« on: April 05, 2004, 09:53:19 AM »
Greetings All!!

On the BET Celebration of Gospel, Pastor Donnie McClurkin ministered a new song, " I call You holy."

It was so powerful and blessed me thoroughly. Does anyone know it, and if it's going to be on his new cd? Furthermore, does anyone know when his new cd is coming out?

Grace & Peace

Hello,

I enjoyed "I Call You holy" also; It was on Bishop Clearance McClendon's cd.  Donnie McClurkin remixed the song a bit. Ha.  I loved it, and I wish that i would have recorded it.  The Newest cd that i have of him is the album called, "Donnie McClurkin....again"  It has the duet with Yolanda Adams on it.  I dont know when he's coming out with new music.  You can go to gospelflava.com  to get that info.

I overheard some musicians talking the other day...

and it is in the 1 4 5 of F  :P

if you know your theory, then you can arrange it to what fits...

it might not be in that order it might be 4 5 1 and etc.. these musicians was calling it out on the fly...

so that is where learning theory comes in handy at...

in the key of F

try it like this... i am not at a piano but.. this might help you along... in my head it goes

5 = C  Ho-
1 = F    ly Ho-
4 = Bb   ly

and the rest of the song fits in those chords from what i thinking....

hope this helps...

or get the wheels turning
