I found it dirt-cheap on Craigslist.  I'm going to pick it up on Saturday.

Here's what it looks like:

$125    ;D  ;D  ;D

My wife would KILL me if I got an Organ with a full Footpedal Board.

It's not Ideal, but for $125, It'll do.

I know!  I know someone who services and Mods Organs, so once i pick it up on Saturday, I'll ask him how much.

Then start the hunt for a leslie.   ;D

I feel like a little kid at christmas!  I just called and confirmed everything!!!!

Now I don't have to go over to the church to practice.  I can practice on an organ everyday!

I play on a similar Organ all the time.  My mother and I go to preach at a nursing home every Saturday.  There's this crappy little Yamaha "Organ" with the same kind of foot pedals as the M3, only it doesn't have a Hammond type sound, and no drawbars.  It's like a toy.
It has these cheesy beats that you can play along to.  Samba, Waltz, etc.

It MUST be better than THAT.

yes,i actually used a chopped m3 with a 122 many years ago!!!few advantages,it is a hammond.not as loud as b3,not as many keys,not as good a sound.BUT,i used j smith,charlie earland sound,i1st 3 or 4 drawbars,chorus on/off etc.the pedals are junk,the lowere manual is weak-but it's a start.in the 70's my m3 with leslie cost about 1800!!!!,was light-2 could carry,and did the job.good luck-see if you can have your tech run a 1/4 output jack,which mine had,then you can buy a preamp for whatever lesli you want.not cheap,but most flexible.that way you might find a motion sound or leslie imitator(electronic)like voce's spin,save some $$$$ till you can do better.be blessed and enjoy

Thanks for the reply man!

And remember, this isn't for recording or giging.  It's just for home practice.

I've played one of these.  Its better known as a Baby B, but it is more different than people think.  Without a leslie its worth about what i paid for mine which was $35.  It has two sets of drawbars, but the bottoms manual only has 7 drawbars, not to mention the very small manuals  The sound is a brighter than any of the bigger organs.  A lot of the old r&b bands used to use them.  I personally don't like them, but a lot of people do.  Good luck with yours!
