What genre are they using is it gospel,Contemporary or i dunno what type...

My church loves HIllsong.

Hillsong itself is a church in Australia. Their worship team is Hillsong United and they play contemporary Christian music. I like their stuff a lot.

Listen to a Donnie McClurkin song and then listen to a Hillsong song. Contemporary Chrsitian Music or CCM is based on rock music while gospel is based on blues/ jazz and all that stuff.
