hey everybody id just like to say that its time like these that i wish i was rich. i wanna start saving up for new kit to get in like a year or so but everytime i get a good chunk saved up i got go and buy some heads or suttin for like $50 and maybe for some of u wit jobs thats not a lot but its hard for me to get money like that cuz im only 13. i dont mean to sound like im complainin but im just sayin drummin is expensive LOL

MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY A DIFFRENT BRAND OF HEADS, I AM 29,AND I AM A BIG GUY,AND I HAVE HAD  MY HEADS ON FOR AT LEAST A YR OR MORE,MAYBE YOU ARE PLAYIN TOOO HARD?? OR USING A HEAVY STIK?? NONE THE LESS KEEP YA HEAD UP YOUNGIN! YOU'LL BE OK! :wink:

naw its not that its just everytime a get a good amount save then something comes up and i got money i dont want to spend

I've been checking out places for drums and drum accessories...have you checked out EBAY?....or Musicians Friends?  I am going to purchase a travel set from Musician's Friends for around $419....maybe that's something you can look into.  I also saw a lot of discounted sets on EBAY.

are your parents/guardians willing to help?
maybe they can do a "match what you save" sort of plan with you.
that is what my parents did with my brother for his first car a while back.
talk to them about your passion for drumming and great desire to get something more.  and if they don't listen at first.....KEEP TALKING. it will pay off

yea i mean no doubt they spent 5oo on the kit i have now that came wit hardwarw cymbals and im upgrading my cymbals for christmas and they know im serious about drumming cuz all i asked for for christmas was all new cymbals and 2 stands and a stick bag
