I sing alto naturally, but can sing lower or higher if needed sometimes.
I am trying to train my voice to reach most notes, so I can be of more use in a choir and to prepare myself for my dream...

I'm a lyric baritone, but I can sing from the low E below the bass clef to the A-flat above the treble clef if I have to.

The mp3's everyone is going to make of themselves singing. We might never see each other and no one really knows if its you. So no one has to be shy about it. You just might get a record deal.  :D I did one and thats a big step for me. I used to be shy. Im going to do another one and post it.

All you singers out there - give a shout out and tell what part you sing? Saprano, Alto, Tenor or other.

Joy

I sing saprano: I didn't think I sung that high unless I get happy; some people try to be funny & say I must be happy all the time then - I reply - I must be because I serve a wonderful God, who hasn't fail me yet!!!   :P
P.S. I also can sing alto - that's where I started, then my voice got higher & higher. Be Blessed

Hey I didn't know that there was a forum for gospel singers.  If I had known earlier I would have been apart of this a long time ago.  This is all good with me.  Anyway,  I am a soprano but I can sing any part.  In my choir, my director calls me a hopper.  Because if there is a part missing, I sing it so those singing that part can here me and pick it up or I'll just sing it the entire time if need be.

I can direct and I think I would do well at vocal arrangement.  I have an ear for that kind of thing.  One day there was an arrangement I could not figure out, so when I gave it to the musican, he said that it was a completly new arrangement and it sounded fantastic.

Anyway, I just wanted to join in.  Everyone was voicing their gifts and I wanted to do the same.  God Bless Y'all.

Smooches!!!  8)

CAN YOU SING?

Hello,
I'm primarily a 2nd Soprano w/ the Tuskegee University "Golden Voices" Concert Choir, but with gospel I sing whatever. From 1st Soprano to baritone
I wish I had a pic to show you guys of me because I'm only about 5'1 and I look like I'm about 16. It's funny because when I start to sing a solo, the first thing people say is "What is this little girl about to do?" Then when I start to blow they can't believe it. Not trying to brag, but it always cracks me up.
I won't take nothing for my journey now. No turnin' back, no turnin' back.
