Now that you have a basic shout bass line I will add just a few simple shout chords to the bass line. You will play three main chords. In order to keep it simple I will not add chord extensions but use the basic major and minor chords.

The first set of chords you will use will be minor, minor, major. You will play the 1, 2, and b3 of the scale as chords. So the first set of chords in the key of C will be C minor, D minor, Eb major.

For now we will use it when going from the 1-4. Note the --> means that you should be playing a walking bass line from the first note to the second note.
